Valentine's "Carrot Gram Tour" at BraveHearts Equine Center – Public Experience
Deliver a carrot gram to our rescue herd + get a hug + snap photos to last a lifetime! Best for guests who want to get up close and personal with equines. Guests will receive snacks to feed donkeys, minis, & draft horses we have rescued and are rehabilitating, as well as our sanctuary animals. All Ages + Kid-Friendly. This is a short walking tour.
For those interested in adopting or sponsoring a horse, please visit our website to learn more. This tour is geared toward learning about the mission of BraveHearts Equine Center rather than an adoption meet and greet.
This tour is suitable for all ages and photos and videos are encouraged! Please tag us on social media! We are an active working horse farm, so closed-toed shoes are advised. We operate rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. Note: We will not operate tours if lightning is present. Please note, all walkways are gravel and may not be wheelchair friendly so access may be limited. Please let us know of any requests for accommodation.
ABOUT BRAVEHEARTS EQUINE CENTER
BraveHearts Equine Center is located in Paris, Kentucky. Owners David and Ruth Waronker founded the nonprofit after realizing there was a need for more support systems for draft horses from abuse, slaughter, and neglect. We are primarily a draft horse rescue, the largest in the state. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome younger equines and provide a sanctuary for the senior animals or those who may need specialized care for the rest of their lives.
BraveHearts is predominantly funded by donations from our supporters. Those who donate help us provide essential care to our over 100 horses and burros in need. Every dollar goes to feeding and maintaining our horses, including vet and farrier visits. It also helps us continue to save more!
