Overview

Step behind the scenes at our 1,300-acre Thoroughbred nursery in Midway, Kentucky. This winter, guests can choose between two unique experiences:

11 AM Barn Tour: Meet horses while they’re in their stalls and enjoy photo opportunities with stars like Goodnight Olive and Caravel.

1 PM Turnout Tour: Follow along with our barn crew to watch the weanlings head outside, including youngsters like ’25 Goodnight Olive, as they romp and play in their fields. This tour may be slightly more active.

What You’ll See

Superstar Broodmares & Weanlings – Learn foaling basics, daily care, and how we raise confident young athletes. Standouts include 2x Breeders’ Cup and Eclipse Award winner GOODNIGHT OLIVE, dam of Champion Forte QUEEN CAROLINE, and Breeders’ Cup winner CARAVEL.

Life on a Working Farm – A guided drive/walk through barns and paddocks with stories from the team caring for them every day.

All ages (recommended 6+). Perfect for curious first-timers, students, families, and lifelong racing fans.

What to Expect

Duration: ~60 minutes

Activity: Light walking/standing; in/out of passenger van; farm surfaces may be uneven.

Weather: Outdoor elements—please dress accordingly.

Horse-first policy: Horses’ schedules come first; specific horses and stops may vary daily.

Safety: Follow your guide’s instructions; please avoid touching horses unless invited.

Photos: Welcome in most areas—your guide will let you know where/when.

Seasonal Highlights

Winter: Stall-side meet-and-greets or turnout sessions featuring our young weanlings at play.

Spring: Foaling season—nursery focus and newborn milestones.

Fall: Recently weaned foals, pregnant/maiden mares; yearlings preparing for training.
