"Daddy Joe," Taylor Made Farm was established in 1976 by Duncan Taylor and his friend Mike Shannon, along with Duncan’s brothers Ben, Frank, and Mark. Still family-owned and operated, what began as a small boarding farm has now expanded to nearly 1,100 acres of beautiful rolling hills in Nicholasville KY. Today, Taylor Made Farm is home to 9 stallions World Leading NOT THIS TIME, Kentucky Oaks and Breeders' Cup winners, Graded Stakes champions, future racing stars, and a thriving community of mares, foals, & yearlings.

The tour will conclude at the Stallion Complex, where you’ll walk through the breeding shed and have the chance to meet our ten stallions. These include Not This Time, one of the few stallions to ever sire champions on both dirt and turf, making him a world-leading sire; and Knicks Go, the 2021 Eclipse Champion, Horse of the Year, and Breeders' Cup Classic winner. You’ll also meet Arkansas Derby (G1) winner Angel of Empire, multiple G1 winner Dr. Schivel, Preakness (G1) winner Early Voting, G1 winner and son of elite sire Curlin—Idol, G2 winner Instagrand, G1 winner and sire of G2 winner Minaret Station—Instilled Regard, G2 winner Tacitus, and G1-placed Rowayton.

Time permitting- Your visit will wrap up at the Taylor Made Store, where you’ll have the chance to browse exclusive merchandise and take home a special keepsake from your time on the farm.
