Inspired by their founding father, "Daddy Joe," Taylor Made Farm was established in 1976 by Duncan Taylor and his friend Mike Shannon, along with Duncan’s brothers Ben, Frank, and Mark. Still family-owned and operated, what began as a small boarding farm has now expanded to nearly 1,100 acres of beautiful rolling hills in Nicholasville KY. Today, Taylor Made Farm is home to 9 stallions World Leading NOT THIS TIME, Kentucky Oaks and Breeders' Cup winners, Graded Stakes champions, future racing stars, and a thriving community of mares, foals, & yearlings.
At the beginning of your tour, you'll learn about and walk through the breeding shed and explore the stallion complex. Here, you'll have the chance to meet our nine stallions: one of the few stallions to ever sire champions on both the dirt and turf making him a world leading stallion, Not This Time, the 2021 Eclipse Champion and Horse of the Year and Breeders' Cup Classic Winner Knicks Go.
