WHAT YOU’LL SEE You’ll meet a wide variety of horses—including ponies, Percherons, off-track Thoroughbreds, Netflix-featured stunt horses, World Equestrian Games athletes, and horses imported from Spain and Australia. Horses on this tour have appeared in campaigns for Versace, Vogue, and US Weekly, and have performed in a range of television shows, films, and live productions.

ON THE TOUR Guests will be walking and standing throughout parts of the tour.
Your tour will begin in the training barn, where you’ll learn about the history of this family-owned farm, the mission of Double Dan Horsemanship, and the style of training used to prepare horses for high-level performance and entertainment work. You’ll gain insight into how horses are selected, trained, and prepared for careers in both competition and the spotlight.
Next, you’ll explore several key training areas on the farm—including the arena, the Liberty Chamber, the indoor round pen, and the outdoor round pen—each designed to serve a specific role in the Liberty training process.
The tour concludes with a guided walk through the performance horse barn, where you’ll meet elite equine athletes and hear the stories behind their accomplishments on the stage, screen, and in the arena.
Please wear closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather. This tour is suitable for all ages and photos and videos are encouraged! We are an active working horse farm, so closed toed shoes are strongly advised. We operate rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. Note: We will not operate tours if lightning is present.

Double Dan Horsemanship is a world-renowned equine training facility located in Midway, Kentucky, known for producing elite performance horses for film, television, live entertainment, and international competition.
