Step into the heart of Kentucky racing with A Day at the Races, Taylor Made for You—an exclusive experience that begins on the farm with our world-class Thoroughbreds and ends with a VIP day at Keeneland that you’ll never forget.

This day-long excursion begins on the rolling hills of Taylor Made Farm, where you’ll be welcomed into the world of Thoroughbred champions. Guests will get up close with mares, foals, and the stallions who helped shape the future of racing. Alongside our team, you’ll hear stories of legendary bloodlines, the Taylor family’s deep history in the sport, and the farm’s unique role in producing world-class racehorses.

After this immersive start, you’ll shift gears into a private, one-hour handicapping class designed to demystify the art of the races. With personal instruction, you’ll learn how to read a racing program, understand odds and conditions, and develop confidence in placing a wager when the action begins at Keeneland.

From there, the experience elevates to a full VIP race day at Keeneland. Your car will be whisked away with complimentary clubhouse valet service, while you and your guests are escorted to a private clubhouse table with full table service for food and drinks throughout the day.

In addition to enjoying the races in comfort, you’ll be treated to exclusive behind-the-scenes access reserved for insiders. Walk the backside to see Thoroughbreds leave their trainers’ barns and head toward the paddock, then step into the paddock itself to watch the horses be saddled, tacked, and prepared up close. As the races unfold, you’ll get to stand in the Winner’s Circle for a live race—watching the finish, feeling the energy of the crowd, and being part of the winning connections’ celebration as the horse is photographed in victory.

Tour Itinerary

9:00 a.m. – Taylor Made Farm Tour

10:30 a.m. – Handicapping Class at Taylor Made Farm

11:30 a.m. – Morning at Taylor Made Farm concludes

1:00 p.m. – Meet at Keeneland Clubhouse (we recommend building in 15-20 minutes of time in case of traffic or delays in entering the Keeneland grounds

6:00 p.m. – Approximate time of final race at Keeneland

Taylor Made Farm was established in 1976 by Duncan Taylor on a small piece of land in Nicholasville, Kentucky. In the early 1980s, Taylor Made pioneered the consignment model at public auction—at a time when most breeders sold their own horses directly.
