Get ready to explore the heart of the Bluegrass! Horse Country, Inc. is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated community event, “Meet the NEIGHbors,” offering locals exclusive, free access to some of Kentucky’s most renowned horse farms and equine facilities on Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15, 2025. Tickets are available now.
In partnership with 250Lex, “Meet the NEIGHbors” celebrates Lexington’s notoriety as the Horse Capital of the World and provides a unique opportunity for Kentucky residents to go behind the gates of iconic stud farms, nurseries, state-of-the-art equine clinics, a local feed mill, and the historic Keeneland racetrack – all completely free of charge. While Horse Country has welcomed over 200,000 guests from around the world to its member locations, this special weekend is dedicated to connecting with the local community.
On June 14th and 15th, at varying times between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., participating Horse Country locations across Bourbon, Fayette, Jessamine, Oldham, and Woodford counties will open their doors. Visitors can look forward to meeting famous stallions, seeing adorable foals and yearlings, or gaining insights into world-class equine care. Standard tours can cost up to $34.50 per person, making this complimentary event an exceptional value for local families and enthusiasts.
Due to limited capacity at each location, advanced registration is essential. No one will be admitted without a pre-booked ticket.
Limited tickets are still available! See details below for which locations can welcome you.
