Hagyard Equine Medical Institute
10:30am – 12pm | Lexington, KY
Get a behind-the-scenes look into equine veterinary medicine, highlighting care & commitment for the horse at one of the oldest and largest equine hospitals in the world. Guests will be guided through this fully functioning equine hospital, and may see surgery, x-rays or a variety of other veterinary procedures taking place. A must see for horse lovers!

This family-run operation will welcome you with their southern hospitality as you learn all about what it takes to make champion equine athletes, from a nutrition perspective. Hallway has produced the feed that fuels champions like American Pharoah, Authentic, Flightline, Justify and more, and their tour provides a fascinating look into the importance of equine nutrition.

Mill Ridge Farm
3:30pm – 5pm | Lexington, KY
Take your newly acquired appreciation of equine veterinary care and nutrition and head on over to Mill Ridge Farm! This well-rounded experience features mares + foals, yearlings and stallions at this historic nursery farm, just down the road from Keeneland. Guests will learn the ins and outs of raising young horses for a career on the racetrack and get up close and personal to some of the equine residents.
