LEXINGTON BOOK BENCHES – A public art collaboration between Arts Connect, LexArts &
the Carnegie Center, these thirty five functional book-shaped benches are placed throughout
town. Inspired by books authored by Kentuckians, each bench was designed and painted by a
local artist. Keep your eye out for them throughout your Art + Equine Day! A location map is

BRUNCH – WALLACE STATION 11:30AM
Beloved local chef Ouita Michel’s Wallace Station is a local’s local restaurant. They were
doing farm-to-table before it was cool and the proof is in every bite!

 

STONESTREET FARM – NURSERY TOUR 12:45pm-1:45pm
A walk through the barns and a drive through the property of Stonestreet Farm’s nursery. Get
up close and personal with frolicking foals and learn about Stonestreet’s unwavering pursuit to
cultivate champions. A stunning property.

 

HEADLEY-WHITNEY MUSEUM 2:15pm
Nestled in the rolling hills of scenic and historic Old Frankfort Pike – just down the street from
Stonestreet Farm – sits the Headley-Whitney Museum of Art. A unique collection of decorative
arts, Mary Lou Whitney’s dollhouses, and George Headley’s jewel collection are a treasure in

DINNER- LOCKBOX RESTAURANT
Round out your equine and art day dining at Lockbox restaurant, located in 21c Museum Hotel.
Delicious food and drinks, a historic building on Main St in Lexington, and a rotating gallery of
modern art.
